Hello and Welcome to my private practice-McCann Clinical Consulting, LLC. I am April McCann, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of AZ, IL, IN, IA, MS, NE, TN. I have a NPI number and Malpractice Insurance. I learned of Emotional Support Animal Letters while living in TN in 2018. Initially, this was a part-time interest, until I grew to understand the depth of caregiver/pet relationships. The more I met with clients, the more I wanted to ensure those relationships would be secure. The world comes at us FAST and having your FURREVER friend by your side makes a difference. These letters will allow you to live or travel with your pet. I have approved 3,500 letters!

I am growing my practice to full time, have more availability to meet with clients and discuss their clinical needs. The ESA and PSD letters require a DSM 5 Diagnosis to meet the Federal Law requirements. The ideal client will have a:

• Mental Health history and DSM 5 diagnosis(primary or secondary)

• Therapist and/or Medication Provider

• Recommendation or Prescription for an Emotional Support Animal

• Consistency with mental health care and wellness within the past year.

• Reside in the states where I am licensed to provide care

I am prepared to meet with anyone ready to address their mental health needs, open to clinical recommendations and ready to be consistent with care.
